Boyfriend offered to wax me for labor?

I've been very concerned with the fact that everyone is going to have to see my untamed jungle when I'm giving birth which is probably the last thing that will be on my mind when it comes to be that time... but I've just always kept it clean and shaven down there so it's odd for me to let it flourish. My partner is 100% ready to help me wax down there and seems eager to help make me feel as comfortable as possible but I also feel silly for going to that extent just so strangers don't see my pubic hair. Fair warning TMI: I tend to shave ALL the hair down there including my crack area so having it grow out for the last few months it just looks incredibly furry everywhere. Do you think I'm completely over reacting and I should just let it be until after birth and go back to my hygiene routine or should I take his offer on helping me!
