Good Responses to People Who Give You a Hard Time About Nursing in Public?

I'm a FTM, and going into the second trimester of my pregnancy next week. I plan to breastfeed when my baby comes. I just watched a video in which a new mom was nursing in public, and multiple people, both male and female, told her she was "disgusting," and asked why she couldn't go somewhere "more private"... This was infuriating to me, but my rage is a post for another time. My question for now is, if somebody were to say things like this to you while you were trying to feed your baby, what would you say? What's a good response? And when you do breastfeed in public, are dirty looks and nasty comments really as common as they seem?
