Which boy is better and what do I do
So I have two best friends- Adam and Sam
Sam and I have been best friends since last year and Adam just switched to my school
This year (I’m in 10th grade) there both SUPER important to me and I would do anything for either of them
Sam started to like me a few months ago but wasn’t totally over the girl he liked the previous year. Me and him were kinda a thing and were semi flirty but never talked about our feelings with one another. He had plans to hook up with another girl (she’s rly pretty) one weekend (that ironically I set him up with) but he didn’t go through with it because he knew I liked him and he didn’t want to mess things up with me. When he ended things with her he said ti me- New endings become new beginnings- (meaning a new beginning with me) but a few weeks later he told me he doesn’t like me like that and jsur wants to stay best friends- it hurt but I got over it- I became really close with Adam (and everyone says he likes me and I think he might too) but Sam keeps telling me I don’t and won’t ever like Adam and that I’m to “good” for him etc- it’s so confusing because Sam sometimes acts so flirty and the whole school is convinced we are like dating but they say the same with Adam. Also they both kinda get jealous of one another and don’t like it so much when I talk to the other one. I care about them both so much and don’t want to hurt either of them, but when it comes done to it I like Sam and not Adam but Sam says he likes the same girl as last year again- it’s so confusing the eye contest across the room the flirty convos the jealousy of Adam etc sam says he doesn’t like me like that but sometimes really acts like he does so I’m
Not sure how to help him figure out his real feelings! idk what I’m supposed to do or how to balance each friendship without hurting both guys and without getting to hurt myself... any ideas?
