Any teen moms?

I’m 17 & I think I may be pregnant 😊. Last year & the year before I’d be scared & would do a lot of dumb things to try to “induce an abortion” IF I was pregnant but I never was. Now, I’m still scared but more accepting of the consequences to my actions. I love babies & although it’s probably not a good age to get pregnant, whatever happens, happens. It’s not the end of the world, just the beginning of a new chapter ❤️. My boyfriend has been supportive throughout all these years & I know he’ll do whatever it takes for my well being.

I got pregnant by the of my Freshman year in high school (15 years old). Parents never gave me the 'Sex Talk' so I did not know any better. I did not stay with the father of my child. He ended up being physocally abusive, I knew I didnt want that for my future. Thankfully my parents ended up being there for me. It was really hard managing school, work, and baby. It is not impossible though, my little boy gave me all the motivation in the world to keep moving forward. I waa a single mom until the past 2 years. My son is now 10 years old, recently got married, and have my career. It only gets bad if you let it get bad. Congratulations😍

I got pregnant at 16 and was a mom at 17 ... you need to stop playing with Fire and get on birth control cause it’s not a matter of if you get pregnant it’s when you will get pregnant. I love my child of course but you need to stop being irresponsible and step it up. You have so much to learn and change and grow before becoming a parent and doing it in a hurry and at a young age is not ideal. Don’t put yourself in that situation. Take responsibility and get on birth control

I got pregnant a week before my 18th birthday. My boyfriend and I are long distance, but we make an effort to see each other pretty often. My birthday is in April so I had to deal with morning sickness, really bad fatigue, etc during graduation practice. I had to take cold showers just to be able to wake myself up for school. A month after graduation my mom starts to get really "hands on". She begins to call my child hers. She begins to try to fully take over. She has a really bad control issue. Her and my boyfriend start to bump heads. Things go down hill pretty fast. So, my boyfriends dad calls him up (whom he's never met), and offers to help us by allowing us to stay with him until we find a place. We go from California to Oregon. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I was almost 7 months pregnant. His dad ends up stealing from us (even some of our unborn child's things), he lies constantly (which broke me because he didn't even know his own son and still fucked us over). He was also a very heavy tweaker with a lengthy record. My boyfriend tried so hard to remain calm. He just wanted a Dad, and kept giving him chance after chance. When I realize he stole my pea coat, and stole my daughters shoes that's when things go south. My boyfriend goes to his house, kicks his ass, and at that point were in Oregon with no money, knowing no one, and nowhere to go. We talk to his ex wife, and she informs us that we can stay with her mom until we get on our feet. We weren't informed that she was a recovering alcoholic . She drinks a glass of wine on thanksgiving. Kicks everyone out, and throws several racial slurs at me. (I was in Jefferson Oregon at this time so I experienced racism often). I went back to California when I was 36 weeks pregnant. I took a 25 hour train ride, and I am once again with my controlling mother whom hovers over my daughter and I constantly. Currently waiting for an apartment, however the waiting list takes months.Fast forward. I'm now 18 with an almost two month old daughter. And, I just am in love with my family. I was terrified of having a miscarriage due to all the stress, but she came out a healthy 7 pounds 1 oz. I had a terrible labor/ delivery due to the crappy hospital I went to, but I'm so happy with where I am now. (Aside from my psychopath mother). Ps. Please make sure you and your partner make time for each other.

Im not, but when I️ was 16 I️ had the biggest pregnancy scare but my boyfriend, soon to be husband, was there through it all. Now we’re TTC #1 👶🏻
