Finances with fiancé

So my fiancé borrowed 1,000 from me and it’s been I think a year or a little more that he didn’t pay me back even half ... and he wants me to get an apartment with him and for some reason I know I’m gonna have to pay for his half of rent more times than he’ll pay for my half if I can’t... he doesnt understand why I feel the way I do about getting one with him.. but I also haven’t expressed that😞 ughhh I hate when money gets involved in relationships.. it’s not like I have that kind of money to give and he acts like because I make more than him or that I haven’t been in dept yet like it’s no big deal.. im a full timer at Stop n shop deli yea im not rich like that
