If assault riffles were to be banned, should police even have access to them?
So here we are again with another mass shooting. I’ve began to notice a pattern. People don’t think assault riffles should be for public use and keep saying it should only be available for trained professionals or people within the police force or military.
My question is, if assault riffles were to banned for civilian use, why should police have them?
Bonus: why would anyone for that matter not actually in war need an assault riffle anyway? Shouldn’t that be limited to only times of war?
