So me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year and a half and the past month he’s been on his phone on some dumb game and doesn’t pay attention to me. Like every second he’s on the thing and before that he was always on his computer playing a game and before that was his PlayStation. I️m so over I️t I️m actually considering leaving him. Is I️t fucked up?

I understand your frustration with not thinking you’re getting the attention you deserve. When my boyfriend & I were  dating for a year and a half I experienced the same problem. I wanted to leave also, but eventually got over it. We’re young and young men are distracted easily by games and what not. If I would’ve left him then, I wouldn’t have gotten to spend another amazing 2 years (almost on our 4th year) with him & yeah, he still shows a lot of attention to his games today, but I know the love that he has for me & at the end of the day, I can handle his game distractions. It could be worse. He could be distracted with other girls instead🤷‍♀️

Talk to him. If he's not willing to compromise or make the situation better, dump his ass. You arent selfish from wanting basic attention from your partner
