Re-use or toss guest's soap??

Question

One of my childhood girlfriend's just came to visit and I bought her some really delicious smelling soaps from Whole Foods for her stay. She didn't take the bar she was using with her and now I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm a little creeped out about using it but feel like I'm maybe being a bit of a germaphobe. Would you use it? Chuck it? Clean it?

Run it over water a while to take a layer of soap off, and then you're fine.

I said keep but wash it but you know thinking about it. I wouldn't want hotels to go that for me when another person has used it so maybe toss it lol
