Kicking - Is this normal?

A few days ago I noticed that I could feel little kicks for the first time this pregnancy! I know for a fact it's not gas, I've had plenty of that. 😅 Well today, I'm 16 weeks and I can feel them on the outside of my stomach, I'm trying to figure out when they happen so my SO can feel them. I just started feeling them from the outside tonight, I was resting my hand on my stomach and felt both the inside kick at the same time as I felt it on my hand. Totally took me off guard! I didn't feel ANYTHING till I was 21 weeks with my first baby so I just feel like this is way too early. Has anyone else experienced this?
