Unprotected Sex while Pregnant?

My obgyn gave me a book that has the do’s and don’ts of pregnancy. One of them was “don’t have unprotected sex, and don’t have sex with more then one person.” Ummm what I’m confused? Why can’t I have unprotected sex? I get to protect against STD’s but condoms break me out even latex free ones.

I’ve only had unprotected sex, every time, with all of my pregnancies, and never had issues. In fact, my OB said towards the end some say that, his semen can help ripen your cervix for labor. How does your OB think people did it all the years before there were condoms?

My doctor told me that is only if your partner has an sti or std.

That’s weird , I have unprotected sex every time I mean what’s gunna happen ? Imma get pregnant , lol. At 20 weeks now we have never once used a condom at all 🤷‍♀️ never heard of that before

I think that means if your sleeping with someone other than your spouse, boyfriend, etc. prob if you don’t know their sexual history. My hubby and I only have unprotected sex with all 3 of our kids and nothing happened!

There’s a very slim chance you can get pregnant while already pregnant. It’s rare as far as I’ve heard though.

That applies to sleeping with people who’s sexual history you don’t know. Aka, sleeping around town.
