First Period with IUD

I got my iud implanted on February 1st the doctor told me I had to use another form of protection for the standard 7 days until it’s activated which I did then about a week and 4 days later my boyfriend and I had sex unprotected and have been ever since, then I started spotting on February 9 which was around the time my period was supposed to come so we didn’t worry and a day after I started bleeding normally as my period would so I went through the normal course of my cycle which is 5-6 days then it stopped for a day now I’m spotting again and cramping. As my boyfriend and I were eating dinner just now I finished early because the cramping came back so I laid down then randomly just threw up all my food... any ideas of what this could mean?
