Picky boyfriend

Okay, so I don’t shave down there. I find it very uncomforting & the hairs seem to catch on my underwear. BUT, I do trim it, I keep it short. There’s no bush or anything, it’s pretty short. But, my boyfriend told me if I want him to do anything, I have to shave before I see him, everytime. & I told him, alright, whatever, I was pretty tired at the time. But now that I think of it, it’s so uncomforting to shave and I know he’s judging me and it highkey bothers me. My hair is sooo short, like, less then 1/2 a cm. What do I do?
