Teachers having guns in schools

So y’all all know about the shooting and how after every time there’s a mass shooting, gun control and restriction is always brought up. I’ve seen many people mention how they think teachers should have weapons while others feared that a teacher could one day lose their mind or a child could get ahold of the gun. Well here in Alabama they are proposing a bill allowing teachers to be armed in order to protect students. I’ll provide a link below. Now I think this could be a good idea but one of the 18 school shootings that’s been mentioned by the media includes one where a 3rd grader pulled the trigger of a police officer’s gun. At his age he knows better but kids are curious and there have been many kids that have been injured due to parents being irresponsible and having guns where their kids could get ahold of them. What do y’all think? Do you think this could help or do you think this would make you more worried about your children?
