Totally. On my heavy day, I empty it every 3-4 hours to avoid leaks.

Yes! Usually the first day of 2 of my period I have to empty the cup in the middle of the day. I usually start cramping when it gets too full.
When I first started using it I had watched videos of women going a whole day and barely filling the cup and I was like HOOOOW. Realized my flow of just heavier.
