When did your babies eyes line up together permanently?

My 4 year old daughter had an eye turn when she was an infant, her pedi said if it didn’t correct itself by the time she was 6 months then she would need to see an eye doctor. It corrected itself, but within this past year for reasons unknown she acquired an eye turn in both eyes, we tried glasses to take some of the strain off of her eyes hoping that would correct it, unfortunately it didn’t, and now she is having surgery next month to reposition the muscle on her eyes to straighten them out. Other than that though, she has 20/20 vision.

Also, this is my daughter. Her eyes alternate which one turns inward, which is why she has perfect vision.

Oh and... if it was longer than 6 months, did you have to patch, have surgery or otherwise treat them to help them line up?

Here’s my sons eyes. This was at 11 months, so we got a referral for the ophthalmologist at his 1 year check up. 
But he’s fine. The Dr said the 2 white dots (can’t remember exactly how she said it) are centered so that means he’s good. He sees fine. If the white dots were off centered, then he would’ve needed something to fix it. His eyes look cross eyed still. 
His pediatrician said usually it goes away by 6 months, but his didn’t.
