Toxoplasmosis

D

I’m posting and hope I come across a vet on here or something. I’ve tried looking on the internet but can’t seem to find exactly what I’m looking for. So I have a cat and of course a big concern with cats during pregnancy is toxoplasmosis. I’m not too too worried about contracting it (although I am aware it’s still possible) considering I don’t change the litter box myself anymore and my cat is indoor and does not eat raw meat or rodents. My concern is, the possibility of my cat getting the parasite from another cat. We just recently moved in with my boyfriends family which has a cat that regularly goes outdoors and does catch rodents and birds. My cat doesn’t really interact or get close to the other one because she’s not familiar with him yet and their cat does not use her litter box. Is there a way that if they did begin to interact, he could possibly give the parasite to my cat?
