I just had my check up the dr said I’m 1 1/2 cm and he can feel baby’s head ?
No my drs hand was up my you know and said he can feel baby’s head and that I’m 1 1/2 cm dilated.
I’ll be 40 weeks on Thursday

on Monday I was 2 cm dilated and had minor contractions 8 mins apart. could feel the baby she was super low.. sent me home from the hospital Monday night. Tuesday I was in full blown labor. she was born at 1:47pm.. active labor for 2 hours

At my 38 week check I was 4 cm and 100% thinned out. Doctor could feel babies head. Now a week later baby still hasn’t come !

the way you worded that really confused me. I thought you meant he can feel the baby's head like through your vag😂 like the baby is crowning. you meant he felt your uterus pressing on your tummy and told you the baby is properly positioned for labor. correct? either way 1 1/2 cm isn't anything at all. I was 2-3cm dilated for 2 weeks before going into labor they won't even give you a room at l&d; until you're 5 cm. BUT you can try walking using an exercise ball have sex etc to try and move things along and jump start labor.

Depends on your body. People can sit at 1-2cm for weeks. The dilation doesnt mean much on its own, the progress of dilation does.
