Spotting or Period?

I am currently 2 cycles post Nuvaring. I have been on Nuvaring almost 4 years. The 3 years prior I had Nexplanon. Last cycle was 24 days long, af was 4 days, and I did not ovulate. This cycle af was 3 days, i started using clearblue digital opks, had +opks cds 9-16, on and off spotting for 5 days during those positives. Was also very stressed, painful side pain from ribs, then the passing of my father. So easily accounting for the spotting. Now tomorrow wouldve been the start of expected af. I spotted light pink/orangeish lastnight, then this morning real red, then tonight its stopped. Do i continue my current cycle or start a new one?
