Couldn't find baby

Two weeks ago we went in and found out we were probably more around 5 weeks than 9 but The baby had a solid heartbeat.

Today when I went in for my ultrasound they said my sac was larger, and you could see a yolk sac, but they said they couldn't find a baby.

The tech said she was going to grab a different wand (vaginal us) but grabbed my doctor instead.

He told me we will schedule another us for next week because baby may be earlier than thought, but then mentioned possible miscarriage. Said the next appointment will verify what it is.

I have a bad feeling

And I know what this but I don't want to believe it.
