Contractions at 35 weeks

I’m 35 weeks tomorrow. Had period like cramps all day. Then starting late this afternoon I started having contractions. Doesn’t matter the position I’m in — standing, sitting, laying down — they continue. They are anywhere from 3-10 mins apart — averaging about 7 mins. And lasting 45-75 secs. I wouldn’t say they “hurt” as they aren’t worse then my period cramps but they are definitely uncomfortable and occasionally I have to take a deep breath because it’s tighter than expected. My husband decided we needed to call the doctor to ask if we should come in. Basically L&D; said it’s up to us whether or not we come in 🙄 such a pointless phone call.
