Tongue web

I recently got my tongue web pierced and the day I got it, it was fine and it didn’t cause problems but the second day I started noticing that it was becoming problematic and I thought maybe it’s just the healing process but I’m not sure

This is what it looked like as a fresh piercing

This is it now, as you can see it’s swelled up, it looks like bruising but I’m not 💯 about it being bruising (the red dots aren’t blood either that’s what looks like bruising to me)

One of my nodes was swollen

The node swelling has now gone down but I’m debating on taking it out and cleaning it until it closes up completely and then in the future getting it repierced

I love it but it gets irritated kind of easily as well

Can anyone let me know if it looks okay? This isn’t a typical piercing so not many people have it and I can’t find much about it at all

Any advice would be appreciated ✨
