growth scan help?

Has anyone had the doctor order a growth scan at 30 weeks? Should I be worried that something is wrong with my girl? I was checked today because of pain I've been having. I'm not sure if that's why he's ordered the ultrasound or if it's something else.

I’m getting mine at 32 weeks, so not too much of a difference and honestly all I’ve heard about baby is that he’s great and growing right on time

I’m having a growth scan at 30 weeks here in a couple of weeks. I’m going for my glucose test and they’re going to do it while I wait. My dr said it was just to check in!

I'm 29 weeks today and I had an appointment on Tuesday and had asked my doctor when I'd get another ultra sound, she told me they don't usually do another one after the anatomy scan in her office unless something seems off, but to be honest I was kind of bummed! I was always under the impression you got one in the third trimester, and I was excited to see my baby! I might just pay out of pocket and go somewhere to get one 😂 I wouldn't worry though they probably just wanna make sure your baby is growing and healthy, you'll feel better after seeing baby 😊

I'm having one at about 32 weeks to check in and see if I'll be able to push. Baby is big and I'm not, so they're measuring it up! But everyone at the hospital I'm delivering at has one between 30-32 weeks.

I’m not 30 weeks yet but I’m 29 weeks on Tuesday, I’ve been sent for an urgent growth scan because apparently my belly is too small so they just want to check baby is still growing as she should. They told me it’s just routine and nothing to worry about so hopefully it’ll be the same for you! My scan is on Tuesday so if it helps I’ll update with what they say

I have gestational diabetes I have to get them every 2 weeks starting at 30 weeks.

Typically insurance doesn’t cover a growth scan unless medically necessary, so he must have had a reason to order it.

I have one tomorrow, at 29 weeks, because I’m measuring almost a month ahead.  She wants to do some measurements and see if I have extra fluid.

I have one next week at 28+4. I have another at 34 weeks. I know mine are because of my previous pregnancy complications. Just ask the doctor why you are having one!

My doctor with my last baby did a growth scan around the same time just to check in! This one around they are doing one at 34 weeks to check growth and decide on inducement! If it’s for a reason they will tell you !
