Is it rude to constantly ask for donations?

There is a girl from my high school who is going on a mission trip. She has been asking for people to donate towards her expenses for the past month multiple times a day everyday. 
Some people are getting very annoyed by her asking so many people to donate to her trip considering the money is only going to her. 
Personally, I think it’s kind of tacky but I don’t really care. No one has to donate

The only reason I voted it depends is because I’ll never forget the person that needed donations for insulin and died because they were $50 short of their goal. 
For trips and things that aren’t necessary, you shouldn’t harass people about it. 
For medications that’ll prolong your life? I’d say be as pushy as you want.

I think it’s tacky to ask all the time. I think it becomes rude when it becomes pushy. To me she seems to be pushy. If someone says no, most likely they will keep saying no.

In her case, yes it’s rude as fuck. Donations should be used to help causes THAT NEED HELP. Not because some girl wants to go on a trip but needs help because she’s broke. She could get a job.

Just for a trip yes it’s rude to basically harass people to give her money. If it’s for medicine or something very important then I’d say you have to do what you have to do to survive 🤷🏻‍♀️

If she wants people to donate she should actually do something to raise and earn the money rather than bug people for it. I’m sure she will take the hint soon. But yeah it does annoy me when people go on. Personally when it comes to charity there’s certain ones I feel very strongly about and if I was going to donate money I’d rather do it to one I strongly believe in than a random one because someone’s asked me to

I think it’s totally tacky to make more than one post a week. And even that is a little much. 
I honestly won’t donate for a mission trip unless there is a clear goal. There are too many Mormon missionaries being sent to place like Utah that already have plenty people there to spread their word. 
Now if you’re going on a medical mission to Peru to help those who aren’t receiving urgent care they may need, post as many and as frequently as you must. I wanna make sure you go.

You can be annoyed if she asks you multiple times and you keep telling her no. However, being apart of a church or organization that organizes these mission trips, people must understand that these trips are solely self funded. And are expensive. The money does NOT go to her. The money goes to the organization that funds the mission trip. This includes travel expenses, resources they bring to whatever country they’re visiting (food, clothing, shelter, school supplies, etc...) it’s not spending money for the person going on the trip. It goes to a better cause, whatever that cause may be. 
I’m sure she doesn’t want or intend to be annoying. She is probably just pumped up about going on the trip and wants to collect any donations she possibly can. Because whatever she doesn’t get, she has to cover out of pocket herself.
