Is "white supremacist" the same thing as "white nationalism"

Realized I wasn't 100% sure, wondering how you've seen it used. The way I understood it, was that white nationalists are a type of white supremacist (that believe in the creation of a white ethnostate), but not all white supremacists are white nationalists. That is, a white supremacist believes their race should be above all others, but a white nationalist believes that the best version of that involves their own country. 

Clearly, it's a distinction without a lot of difference between a whole bunch of evil assholes, but I do like to know whether or not I'm interpreting something the same way others do.
