What did you start with Infant or Convertible Carseat?

I'm curious to what everyone has chose for their babies, starting out as an infant, of course, which car seat did you go with and why? Maybe leave the brand you bought?! Thanks ladies! 💛💛

Our infant car seat was part of a Graco travel system. We now have the Grow and Go convertible car seat by Safety First.

We had an infant one, but was grown out of by 4 months.

Infant car seat that clicks into stroller (it's a Graco travel system).  Newborns sleep so much, it was so easy just keeping her in car seat to take her in and out of places. Imagine you've got a sleeping newborn and have to run into he has station real quick. Do you want to just pop out the whole car seat with baby still asleep or wake a sleeping baby and spend the time unbuckling and rebuckling the baby in and out? 
We're still using that same car seat at 9 months old.

We started with an infant seat and honestly we regret it. She outgrew it by 4/5 months so it didn't last nearly as long as it typically does for babies. We now have the Graco Extend2Fit and love it so much.

We used a britax Boulevard click tight with our first. I much prefer the convertible seats because I prefer to get the most out of what I buy. I just bought a britax bsafe elite for baby #2 because we have a very small vehicle and I can't fit two rear facing convertible seats. In this instance it's cheaper than buying a bigger car right now.

Baby Trend. It sucked so much. Do NOT buy anything that brand. Everything is made to be much more difficult than it needs to be.

My daughter's God mom bought her a really nice all in one car seat. Then I found a graco click connect car seat for sale on Facebook for $20 we got that as the backup car seat. For when we use a different car or a family member takes her. The all in one is extremely difficult to move from car to car.

We started with a graco 4ever. It's doing us just fine almost two years later. Still rear facing, probably for another year at least.
We were gifted a safety first 3 in one multifit. It's not my favorite as it doesn't have a lot of recline angles and the belt system is wonky. But it does the job as our second car seat.
We used an infant car seat a couple of times and I hated it. Bulky, heavy, and no cuddles. But whatever works for you. It didn't for us.

We did an infant seat first for about 6 months and hen switched over. My daughter was born in January and we live in very cold temperatures so it was way easier for us to have blankets over the seat vs trying to get her out of a convertible car seat and then put warm clothes on before going outside of the car.
