Should I end things.

I love my boyfriend very much and am in love with him, he told me he needs to think and we haven’t talked in three days. My mind is going crazy, if he is out exploring options, if he is just easing into ending it, just everything. It’s exhausting. I want a future with him and worked for years to get to where we are but clearly he doesn’t care. What would you do in this situation.
