Co sleeper and Pack N Play

So I need some help deciding how I want the baby to sleep beside my bed the first few months before I transition to the crib. I was planning on getting a pack n play with a bassinet attachment but when I looked at it in person I didn't like it very much. So right now I'm looking into the Halo bassinet and a pack n play with a flip top changing table and no bassinet attachment. What do you think? I need some advise in what worked best for others or what didn't work at all! Thank you!
