Situationship

So I’m seeing this guy but not in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with him (yet!) we’ve been texting for around three months; we’ve been on dates and obviously had “chill days” together.

I really want to be in a relationship with him but he got out of a relationship in December so I don’t know how he feels about being in one? How do I bring it up with him? How do I know if he’s just interested in sex or something real?

I feel so much more for him than I ever did with my ex of 1 year, and we’re not even together. He treats me so well and understands all my problems, I trust him so much I told him everything.
