Best swaddle transition?

I’m using the love to dream 50/50 swaddle. I haven’t took the wings off yet. Because I’m having my son get use to his hands being near his face first. He’s actually doing really well being out of his swaddle. Hopefully he will do good without the wings. I heard the Merlin suit has recalls for overheating. Looking to that before getting it

We used a Halo sleep sack to swaddle and when he started rolling I just left his arms out. I still use the sack every night, with his arms out.

We dropped swaddles cold turkey. She now sucks her thumb to settle herself to sleep.  :)

we did one arm out and then both arms out

We went from swaddling their lower half (they always broke their arms free no matter what) to no swaddles at all.
