Canopy & Cribs
All of these nurseries are beautiful. I personally like how the canopies above the cribs look. They scare me though. I don't want to criticize anyone. Hey it's your baby, your home, you do what you want. It's just every time I see a canopy over a crib it really worries me. Especially the thinner lace like ones and the ones with lights or stars hanging down. No judgement like I said your kids your home. I would just be so afraid of tangling and stangulation with that over a crib. I understand if you only have it up when baby isn't mobile yet but even then it doesn't make sense to me. Most people I think keep a baby in their room until baby is more mobile. So I guess it just doesn't make sense to me to have a canopy at all. It looks great but is it safe? It doesn't look so to me. I want one for my daughter but she's 1 now and I won't be putting one in her room till she's at least 3 or 4. By then she will be old enough to know not to mess with it . Just thought I'd post something and give anyone something to think on. Do whatever you like of course but think about the safety of it all. I have a canopy bed in my room and I twist my curtians up around my post and the then. So my daughter won't get tangled in them.
