Confused :/

so me and this guy have been talking for 5 months, and i've got some feelings for him. but he really confuses me.. i remember when i asked him about dating and he said he doesn't really like labels so he wouldn't call me his girlfriend but he'd call me his girl, etc (which makes no sense bc in reality i would be your gf??). then we both said we weren't ready yet and he said "we'll both be ready soon" what does that mean?? also, his sister knows about me, i think, he's showed her pictures of me. (also, he lives in TN and i live in KS, that's why i asked him about visiting). do you think the reason he said this is bc we're not a thing yet? it kind of bothered me a little bc i wanted him to visit for spring break. although apart of me feels like it's still too early and i DO want to take things slow, i'm not trying to rush.. that's why i regret asking him about the dating thing and visiting. he doesn't really talk to me about his feelings but whenever i assume something he's always like "you don't know how i feel or what i feel" so he must feel something right? idk, but what do you guys think he's trying to say? ALSO, i asked him if he could see us being together and meeting in person one day (not like anytime soon) and he said yes.
