Got a date for ER!

After what feels like 12 years (actually 12 days) I’m ready for egg retrieval! Will be doing it Friday morning. I have a lot of eggs, 15-20 but they’re varying sizes. The largest is 21, then have a few in the 18-20 range and a bunch in the 14-16 range. My doctor said there’s only a 50% chance that the small ones are mature, but we can’t wait much longer because the big ones will be “overripe”. She already told me that because of my high number, we should expect a fair amount will not be viable. Because I’m at risk for OHSS, we changed my trigger from HCG to Lupron.

I’m nervous, but hoping for the best!
