3 days from my period

hi, so I am having red and dark brown discharge ( I guess you would call it that or leaking) so I am cramping like I'm about to start my period and my breast hurt and I'm bloating this has happened before but is it normal? I have a copper IUD so I don't think I'm prego. we did have sexy during ovulation but he still pulled out. cause we are paranoid about getting pregnant. thank for your help this cite help me so much!
