Am I wrong?

Okay so today in 6th period, a bisexual girl had asked me if I was against homosexuals. I said yes BUT you know do you. I’m not for the lgbtq community but I have nothing against them ya know? So she was applaud by my response and started cussing me out, so naturally I cussed her out back. She was like okay why are you against it. I said because I’m a Christian, the Bible basically says that being homosexual is a sin. Not to mention scientifically, it is impossible for two girls (or guys) to have babies right? Now she goes on this whole rant about how to stop liking someone I said “yes you can” she she asked how. I specifically said “the types of people you like are based on your preferences. If you want to stop liking someone it’s like you have to train your mind to say oh this person does not like me or whatever the situation is”. My question is, am I wrong for telling her what I think. She asked the question and I answered....right?

You are right to respond, since she asked. She was mad because for her, she felt like you were insulting who she is. When something like this happens and someone doesn’t agree with your opinion its better to just walk away. Cussing her out only escalates the situation. But as a side note, you need to understand you cannot just flip your mind into liking someone else because of it. I presume you are straight, so what if you were told to like girls? Could you convince your mind to like them sexually? Not as easy as you think.

It doesn’t matter anyone else’s beliefs or what’s politically correct. If someone asked you a question and you answered politely, SHE is in the wrong for freaking out. 
Assuming that you don’t go around forcing your opinion down other people’s throats, you have every right to ask her to kindly do the same; you don’t have to agree with homosexuality, and she doesn’t have to believe that homosexuality is a sin. All you have to do is mutually respect each other as human beings.

She asked, you answered. There's nothing wrong with being honest, if she knew she wouldn't be happy with what could of been your answer, she shouldn't of asked the question in the first place. Remember to not stoop down to their levels though in terms of cursing, the Bible teaches us to love one another. You're not in the wrong

I think that sense she was the one to ask you, she should’ve expected a honest answer. It’s your opinion and there is nothing wrong with that.

She needs to respect your opinion. Personally, I wouldn’t have engaged with her because some people aren’t willing to accept the opinions of others. It’s okay to ask questions and understand why but that is if both parties can be civil and “agree to disagree” without attacking one another. Religion, politics, and sexuality are very sensitive topics.

You can have your own opinion but I think you handled it wrong because you went a little aggressive... she didn’t need to cuss you out so that was bad on her part to but it’s slightly understandable because she probably feels that you are attacking her personally with your beliefs... I would just avoid talking about it... especially since saying lgbtq is bad because it’s a sin isn’t really a popular opinion anymore... also btw so many things people do everyday out sins do what makes being gay “worse” than all the others... makes no sense to me
