too needy?

hi guys so my boyfriend goes to college about 1.5 hours from me and he comes to visit about every two weeks. lately hes been not texting me as much because he literally lives with his best friends so theyre always playing ps4 or getting high. i am someone who needs a lott of attention but i dont know how to tell him that it bothers me how he doesnt text me often.. we are a very happy couple so i dont want him to think im needy or too high maintenance.. how should i bring this up
