Has anyone tried the birth control Lo loestrin fe? If so how did/do you like it?

I loved this birth control. I tried one that sucked before it. This made my periods predictable and I felt pretty normal on it. No depression, which is what I was most afraid of. It’s one of the lowest dose combined pills on the market.

loved it. I didn't have any side effects. when I got off I had mood swings but it didn't last long. I felt normal 👍

So it started out okay for me, I didn’t get my period at all for the 5 months I took it and when I got off it took 2 months for Flo to come, the period lasted about what it usually used to for me 4-5 days and it wasn’t heavy. The major issues I had with it was acne and my hormones. I got such bad cystic acne on my chin and neck and still cannot get rid of it. I’m now on acne medication and I’m seeing some difference not much. I had some mood swings, nothing major in fact, I felt nicer haha. However I lost 5lbs on it and when I went off I gained the 5lbs right back. It’s different for everyone my sister lost weight and lost her acne when she was on it. Give it 3 months at least to see any real changes though.

Currently on it & can’t remember the last time I’ve had a period, so that’s a nice side effect. It doesn’t seem to obviously affect me, but I can tell it affects my moodiness. Cant wait to get off of it in a few months! But I’d definitely pick it over all other BC options

Loved it! Gave me headaches at first but that only lasted a few days! Made my period so much lighter and eased my cramps tremendously
