am i drying up already???

Question

like 2 days ago i could get 4oz from my left breast, 6oz from my right. i didn't pump all day today until a few minutes ago, and baby mostly feeds from my right breast because he has difficulty latching to my left... well i just tried pumping and could barely get 2oz from my left and only about 3oz from my right maybe less.... 
am i drying up already?!

Answer

Your body adjusts surprising fast. If you were nursing + pumping and then stopped doing one of the other, your supply will adjust. If you wanna increase it again, then go back to what you were doing (don’t skip pumping all day). 
The amounts you described are a lot. If you can keep up with an oversupply then that’s great. You can store lots of milk. An oversupply can have some downfalls though just as a FYI (engorgement, clogged ducts, mastitis). 
I breastfed for 13+ months and when I was away at work, I would only pump 4oz combined from both breasts.
