Car seats?

Question

Are infant car seats safer than comvertable car seats? Should I try and prolong the use of the infant seat? Or is it best to move to the comvertable? Is that even the next step? Do you guys have any recommendations for comvertable car seats? Thanks!!

They’re both equally safe mama. 
The next step would be a rear-facing convertible seat. 
We used the infant seat until 7 months and then switched to a rear-facing convertible seat. My daughter likes the convertible seat much more because she can see more. 
I would get a convertible seat that can grow with baby. I got the graco 4-ever one and we like it!

We never had an infant seat. As long as it’s safe for the weight of your baby, either is fine.

Depends on how big your baby is. Seats have size limits so if your baby is 40lbs and infant car seat is probably no longer safe. Next step would be convertible rear facing. And evenflo platinum safemax is the safest on the market and is rollover and side impact tested.
