Pacifier Weaning

So I finally got my almost 5 month old to sleep without a swaddle a couple weeks ago! 💥

Is it too early to take away her pacifier?

Her sister is 2 and 5 months and still super attached to hers 😬 She only gets it at bedtime now but she throws A FIT if she doesn't have it. She'll fall asleep in the car and other places without it but not her bed.

Anyways, I don't want my 5 month old to start sucking her thumb if I take her pacifier away. And I don't want her to be as attached to it as her sister is. So I don't really know what to do 😥 any tips?
