Did anyone get stuck with depression after having your little one?? It’s been almost 2 years and I’m finally feeling like I’m getting back to my old self.. anyone else

I had ppd and I didn't feel better until recently either. I weaned off my meds to  ttc for baby number 2. I'm hoping I have an easier time with this baby but if not I know that it will eventually get better. I'm 7 weeks pregnant now with horrible nausea and vomiting but I'm still feeling like myself. I've been off the meds now for a little over 2 months.

I was diagnosed with post partum depression and anxiety about two weeks after my daughter was born and put on medication that helped some - I recently learned my thryoid was shot though and no longer working, and once starting medication for that I feel 100% back to normal

yup! I was diagnosed PPD & PPA when lo was 4 months. I am still currently on zoloft.. I'm terrified to come off of it in fear that all the suicidal thoughts will come back..

I am on meds and still not feeling better... I had PPD and PPA after my first born and it turned into severe depression after my 2nd born... 8 months on meds

Yup, I was feeling great. I was working out again and the family was eating healthy. Then I got pregnant and starting back a square one

I did had it for a couple of weeks but felt better afterwards. I'm glad you are feeli ng better! having depression is a terrible thing.
