PMS, no AF?

Question

I went off the pill January 25 and had a fairly normal AF or withdrawal or whatever right after, it was a little heavier/longer. Now I’m on CD 39, and no AF (several BFNs, so that’s not it). I know it can take a while for AF to show up, but what has been killing me is the PMS symptoms. I’ve had some pretty severe backaches and some mild cramps on and off 
for like 10 days! I keep thinking AF is here, but nope! 
Anyone else experience AF symptoms but no AF?

Update: I’m 43 days late. No AF, and the AF symptoms stopped weeks ago. I’m so frustrated. I do have a gyno appointment in about a week so I can discuss whether this is normal after coming off the pill, or see whether I have something else going on like PCOS or something.

Yep I’m the same...I’m on CD 55 and I’m 26 days late but having cramps and backache for the past week

yep.... it sucks I had pms symptoms for 3 weeks before I actually started went 43dc after bc bleed... so maybe you will start soon fingers crossed

Second update: 3 months off the pill, no period, so I’m going to try medoxyprogesterone to induce a period. We’ll go from there.
