Wanting to get pregnant this summer... when do i get off the pill?

Question

So i just turned 30 and am ready to get pregnant. Bc of some medical issues, my dr and i agree i should get pregnant this summer- like June and July. From reading this forum, I’m assuming i should get off the pill 3 months before June? I’m just wondering what to expect getting off the pill. Mood swings, my period, but mostly when i could be pregnant.
Also wtf is ttc?

I would get off now. I teach and we thought it would be perfect to be due between may and July so if I needed a long term sub it wouldn’t be that long. Well 15 months later we now see an RE because it hasn’t happened yet 🤷🏼‍♀️. You never know it could be the next month after stopping or someday in the future. Baby dust to you.

ttc is trying to conceive. I read a ton of stuff and it wasn't true for me. I got my first cycle a month off BC(stopped mid pack) was on it for 6 years. the timeline will vary for each woman but for me there was almost no lag. I hear if you take for closer to 10 years it may be more difficult. I would assume you may get prego right away off it.

I would come off now, and use condoms maybe for a month. It can take up to 12 cycles (so I’ve heard) to regulate after the pill. 
I’m on month 3 ttc after the pill now and I’ve not even ovulated yet so sooner rather than late would be my advice. 😬

I would do it now. I got off end of November last year and am still trying. I’ve been doing BBT charting and everything. I didn’t think it would take this long because I got pregnant at 18 and 20 (not by plan, obviously), but assumed it would be fairly easy. It takes your uterine lining some time to thicken back up and your cycles to normalize. Good luck!

I was on the pill for around 12 years been off 6 months now and not had a period! I’m also a teacher and was trying to plan it perfectly but that hasn’t happened. No under the doctors having bloods and ultrasounds. If I was you I would come off pill now and just use other contraception! Good luck! X

I got off birth control pills in January after being them for 12 years. I got my period the next cycle right on time. I had a heavier period than normal and some cramping but no mood swings. I plan on actually ttc in may. Good luck 😁

I stopped the pill mid-February after being on the pill for nearly 15 years. My first period came after a 24 day cycle and am ovulating (right now!!) after my second cycle. I’m tracking temps and ovulation via tests strips so I know 1) when/if I get pregnant and 2) when to expect my period.

I was on the pill for 10 years. Came off in September 2017 and have had regular cycles since then. However, I’m still not pregnant after tracking, using ovulation tests, etc. Just because they go back to normal doesn’t mean you’ll get pregnant so I would come off now and just let it happen.
