Baby shower at 32 weeks?

Is 32 weeks a good time to have the shower? My best friend is hosting, but wants me to pick a date. I just want to make sure that isn’t too late! I have to travel 4 hours for it since it will be in my hometown, but I don’t think that will be too bad since we can make several stops along the way.

I’m having mine at 29 weeks.  Somewhat because of timing and people I want to be there being on vacation for awhile after then.  But also because I want to enjoy it: not be too big and uncomfortable or sick etc and have the time to set everything up and organize the nursery.  And still have time to purchase things we didn’t receive without it being last minute.

I think that’s a good time. I am having mine in my home town in a week. I’ll be 29w 4d when I have mine. I told my mom
I didn’t want to travel after 30 weeks. I’m traveling 6 hours via car. I am having my baby shower in the town I live at 33 weeks. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t too miserable when it was done. lol.
