Baby blues?

My son will be 4 days old today. I can’t stop crying. I love him so much and I don’t know why I’m crying. I’m sad because I feel like the hospital stay is such a blur and it all happened so fast. I’m sad thinking he is going to get bigger and grow up. Is this normal? I feel crazy.

Very normal and exactly what you called it - the baby blues. I had the baby blues for about a month. It’s hormones, lack of sleep, adjusting to your new role, etc. It does get better! I’d say if your not feeling better in a month to talk to your doctor. Baby blues and postpartum depression are different and you should talk to your dr if you’re not feeling yourself. Good luck!

Totally normal. My last pregnancy I literally cried for a month straight. Everything made me cry, it was crazy.
