Anterior placenta/ ultrasound
Were any of you with anterior placentas able to get good quality pictures of your baby’s face? I found out I have an anterior placenta at my 20 week anatomy scan. Baby girl was really low, with her head down, and facing my spine for most of the scan. We finally got her to shift so we could get peaks at her face, but the tech couldn’t get decent pictures because then she was laying pressed up against the placenta, and when he tried to removed the placenta from the picture it distorted her face too much. They’re having me get another ultrasound next Tuesday before my appointment to get a better look at her face/ brain.... hopefully. Anything I can do to increase the chances of her being in a good position? Is it better if she’s more active during the scan so there’s a chance we can catch a good angle?
