Trying after IUD removal

Hello. We are trying to get pregnant after my Merina removal. My nurse said it’s best to wait til your first period. Well, I had one but never flowed, was more brownish mucus that only showed on a tampon on upon wiping. That lasted about 10 days.. I logged it on this app’s cycle calendar and it estimated my period start 3 days ago. Well, here I am no pd and 2 negative pregnancy tests. I should start any minute, right? Tests couldn’t be wrong, right?
