How does one get a early ultrasound?

I'm 4w5d and I keep seeing ultrasounds as early as I am. I registered for a midwife but I wont hear back anything until 7 business days 🤷🤷 and my doctor is in another city that's 4 hours away. could I just go to a walk in clinic or.... just wait? I just wanna see it 😂

You won’t see anything at 4w5d. Don’t waste your time or money. I had one at 7 weeks and it’s super tiny and barely looks like a baby. Most drs won’t do one until 6+ weeks. And sometimes that’s even too early.

I believe they only so ultrasounds this early if you’re high risk or you have a history of miscarriages or if you specifically ask to have one. My first appointment is scheduled for 8 weeks!

Just wait. At this point you won't see anything. Normally you won't be seen until 8 weeks. That's when you will get to see something that looks like a blob. Congrats though!! It's very exciting :)

There’s no point in getting one before about 6 and a half weeks as you won’t see anything and it will just make you worry!

You won’t see much until 6 weeks. At 5 weeks, you typically just see a sac and maybe a yolk sac. I know it’s hard but it’s best wait until at least 6 weeks.

with my second pregnancy i got my first ultrasound done when i was 12weeks. but with my fourth pregnancy 3rd baby and 5th pregnancy i got early scans due to a miscarriage and cause i was having on and of spotting with both. in 2017 i got pregnant 2times and miscarried so now i am 6 weeks 4days and will get an early scan ( 3/14) due to my other miscarriages and due to on amd off spotting since i was 4weeks and honestly you won't be able to see anything right now. i got a u/s done at 4weeks 3days and not even a sac was seen

I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 2 days but only because they thought I was 8 weeks. Didn’t see anything but the sacs

I would definitely recommend waiting. If you go too early they won’t be able to tell if the pregnancy is viable, it made me more nervous!
