How to control my feelings?

My boyfriend and I were supposed to spend a whole day together but we got in a fight so he stormed off & left. I texted him & apologized but he didn't respond right away. So I put my phone away for a couple of hours to recouperate (don't know how to spell it lol) but when I came back to my phone, he explained to me the issue & I apologized again. Then he apologized. Then I called it a night early and we said our goodnights but now I'm sad and SUPER emotional (probably because of PMS) but I don't wanna go on a texting binge and send him whatever the h*ll is on my mind because I do that a lot when I'm emotional and I realize that it's like sending a drunk text because in the morning I don't feel anything like I did when I sent the message lol so long story short, how can I deal with these emotions at 10:43PM? lol
