HELP PLEASE

So here's the deal. I just recently learned that I have PID, otherwise known as Pelvic Inflamatory Disease. It's serious if it goes untreated. I don't exactly know how long I've had it and it terrifies me because there could be quite a bit of scar tissue and that could hinder my fertility. I have a follow up on Friday where I should find out what else can be done, so good vibes, juju, prayers, hugs, etc. would be nice. I told my boyfriend about it and he seems to feel that it isn't an emergency for him to go get treated, when in reality, to me at least, it's a huge deal.... I just don't know what else to try to do to convince him to go get the treatment as soon as possible rather than waiting for his next day off. It's frustrating beyond belief and I feel like he's acting sort of childish... am I overreacting about him getting treated sooner rather than later?? I'm also terrified that if he doesn't go get treated, but tells me that he does, that I'll get it again and potentially lose any chance of having children... What should I do?
