I think they’re so cool and I like to think I could trust myself but I just know that I’m the type of person that would break out into a psychotic panic if I couldn’t find the heartbeat

I got the Sonoline B & like it a lot! I’ve been able to find the heartbeat a few times but my midwife told me to bring it in on my next appt so they can show me how to use it better to get more accurate readings

Honestly, I bought one with my first and I use it now with my second! I thought maybe I’d be obsessive and panic over the heartbeat, and I haven’t been at all. I check it randomly for no reason other than to hear my baby. And there’s been times early on I struggled to pick up the heartbeat and never once panicked. 
I’d definitely purchase. It’s a neat experience.

I got one. I was terrified at first because I am one to freak out if I couldn’t find a heartbeat, but I did and it is such an anxiety reducer!!!... especially now that I’m around the time I miscarried last time and the bloat is going away.

they can make mothers worry bc sometimes the heartbeat cant be found, and i bought one and it doesnt even work so 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a period of wanting to get one when I couldn’t feel baby move yet. But I did some research and decided against it. 
And I agree with another comment I saw where if I couldn’t find the heartbeat I’d probably freak out lol.
